| Silver Creek Park
has become one of the finest in the Midwest. The course winds
along Silver Creek which flows into Lake Michigan between hole number
18 and 19. The picturesque landscape makes you feel like you are
just strolling through the park; golf discs in hand of course. Local
business sponsors were secured in the summer of 2000 and the first
round of disc golf was played on Halloween. |
 |
2012 brought several major park improvements adding 19 new concrete tee pads, 10 new basket placements and 26 new sign locations. The new 27 hole layout offers great variety of play and challenge for all skill levels. New tee signs will be added offering new and existing sponsors an oppportunity to promote their businesses while supporting these volunteer course projects.
The design
was started by a group of local enthusiasts and perfected by "Duster"
Don Hoffman, one of Disc Golf's finest course designers. Duster
is one of the leaders of the Wisconsin Disc Sports Association and
was also the PDGA Region 6 coordinator for many years.
